Sunday School

We have weekly classes for children ages Pre-K thru 5th grade, on Sunday mornings, right after our 9 AM worship service (which is usually about one hour long).  The "Spark" rotational curriculum offers children a chance to hear and learn the same story  of scripture for three or four weeks in a row, and experience the story using different media, like art, music, drama, science, and cooking.  For more info, contact Pastor Nick

  • The curriculum for confirmation candidates usually takes place during a students' 7th and 8th grade year, with the Affirmation of Baptism and the congregation's confirmation of faith taking place in the fall of their 9th grade year.  Confirmation instruction is led by the pastors Joe and Nick.
  • We encourage 6th graders to be a part of a preliminary third year of confirmation, which is lots of fun.  We use the "re:form" videos and it is taught by rock-star members of the congregation.

Junior Lutherans

The Junior Lutherans is for young people in grades 3-6. This group meets 8-10 times a year for fun, service, learning and fellowship. Recently, the Junior Lutherans planted trees in the gardens on St. Feriole Island. And they bowl, do scavenger hunts, have overnights, and do service projects at Sugar Creek Bible Camp, as well as other activities.
